New Ranch Texas Attraction

The new facilities created with state-of-the-art technology make the visitor experience real-time experiences related to the marine environment. Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park expands its current facilities and inaugurates next April 22, the new Environmental Classroom.

A new enveloping space, equipped with the latest technologies,  takes the  visitors at Rancho Texas to the beginning of time, some 35 million years ago when underwater volcanos built the foundations of the Canary Islands.

For informative and entertainment purposes, the new attraction recreates the interior of a volcanic cave and its underwater life, with the contents defined by professionals in Biology and Geology at the University of Las Palmas. Inside the cave different sensory experiences can be experienced thanks to an audiovisual thematic project that manages to immerse the visitor in the seabed of the islands together with species that inhabited these waters millions of years ago. By combining several state-of-the-art technologies, the Environmental Classroom creates a unique system that allows the space to tell the different stories. As the visitor travels the route, large-format 4K projections, adapted space supports, light effects, surround sound systems and computerized mechanical systems, create real-time experiences, with interactive posts that delve into the information visual that is presented.

The area will be between the roundabout at Rancho Texas towards the first developements moving towards the town. The area will be used for to parks and green areas and the rest of the surface will be for streets, sidewalks and infrastructure.
