One thing about the main strip in Lanzarote is that the bars and restaurants change over the years. Many of the older establishments have closed and made way for the new. One bar that has survived. Its been there for as long as I can remember, must be over 20 years now. Owned by Gary Linekers brother Wayne, this is the bar to visit if you love sport.
In 1988 Wayne opened his first bar in Tenerife in Playa de las Americas. The name Lineker was attracting lots of attention at the time and he soon hd to look for bigger premises. His brother Gary was at the time the England captain.
